This is a 400,000 square foot, LEED Gold, mixed-use project at the epicenter of Southwest’s new Town Center.  The multiple buildings offer a mix of residential types including a vibrant blend of market rate and affordable rental housing as well as senior affordable housing. With 443 units total, the development will fill the demand for more housing in the flourishing surrounding area.

The plan also supports the broader District’s goals of sustainability, walkability and economic viability. In support of the District’s affordable housing goals, the project will contain 35% more gross square feet of affordable housing than required in the currently approved Stage 1 PUD/LURA and 10% more units of affordable housing than required by law, resulting in a total of approximately 153 affordable rental units.

Along with the housing options, the plan includes the introduction of a brand new 10,000 square foot theater and art space for people to enjoy. This neighborhood is already a hotbed for artistic creativity so this installment will only add to that growing trend in the surrounding area.
