CityPartners worked with the Tenants’ Association to preserve and convert this space into a 22 unit apartment building located in Columbia Heights, one of Washington’s hottest neighborhoods. The renovation was completed in Q3 2009 and sold out in Q1 2010. The Berkeley is a unique and complex project that offers affordable homeownership while providing luxury features most often associated with high-priced condos. 1440 Columbia Road is owned by the Tenant Association and is developed by CityPartners. Amenities include a concierge/doorman, extra storage, and terraces with some units. The Berkeley is located within walking distance of the Columbia Heights Metro Station.
